HEADS DOWN

We are a civilized society. 'Civilized'.....that word should be configured with a new meaning. If going to a killing spree, molesting, abusing and raping a lady to her limits and then leaving her to beg for death are the trade marks of civilization, then hell yes! We are civilized!!

What make me jot this down is the recent development around me.By this time everyone would be knowing about the Delhi incident.

Rape is a stigma which has been prevalent in the society for a long period of time. After the incident the victim is traumatized and is virtually impossible for her to come out the trauma. The victim has to leave with the stigma for the rest of her life, if any is left in her. According to justice Krishna Iyer;

"A Murderer kills the body, but a rapist kills the soul"

Into some statistics,we are alarmed of the situation, after knowing the fact that the number of rape cases in India has gone up to an disquieting 873 percentage from 1953 to 2011. There has been an upsurge of 9.7 percentage within the period of 2007 and 2011.(courtesy: www.legalindia.in). The GUARDIAN newspaper puts it thus; "Of all the G-20 nations, India is the worst place for a woman to be".

The social networking sites are abuzz, clamoring capital punishment to the culprits. But the following are the charges put on the culprits according to the Indian Penal Code:

1) Section 376(2)(G)(Gang rape)
2) Section 377(Unnatural sex)
3) Section 307(Attempt to murder)
4) Section 201(Destruction of evidence)

The maximum punishment on the basis of this crimes can be unto a life sentence, nothing more. The final discretion of the verdict will lie upon the Hon.Court of  Justice.

The conviction rate is only 26 percentage. The culprits are no longer aghast of law. It may be due to the tardy and long procedures for the delivery of justice. So it's high time we bring about special laws concerning rape cases and provide instant and moral punishment to the felons, delivering justice in a swift manner to the victim.

What we have to make sure in the future that such incidents will not occur. For that the police have to be agile. Let's not put every one of those sacks on the heads of police authorities and politicians. We have some duty towards over sisters too. The youth of the country will unambiguously have to play a huge role. Only then we will be rewarded with fruitful results.Only then our mothers and sisters will be safe from hungry eyes. Remember those words.....REAL MEN DON'T RAPE......real men give respect and take respect...... We demand time bound action and vigilance without aberrations.

Finally i demand prayers for that innocent sister who is in state of virtual death. She has passed many times to coma...prayers......god help her.

MURDERED INNOCENCE

I scribble this down with a heavy and mourning heart. I Can't even find words. The first thing i saw, when up from bed was the morning newspaper with the terrible news. Rooted to ground i lost my ability to speak for a few moments. May your souls rest in peace dear children.

Autocracies against children are mounting in a rapid rate. And this is getting too close to comfort.Schools are second home for children, and it's becoming that they are no longer safe in their own homes. Let me remind you of the fact that all the children who were devoid of their lives were between 5-10 years of age.
Pray someone please tell me what their faults were?? Only someone bereft of his soul can shoot down this tots after having a peek at their innocent faces......

After committing such a heinous crime the killer committed suicide. What right does this crap have left to live.? How i wish that the man who committed such a brutal massacre was never awoke that morning.....on that dreadful day.

It was later found that the mother of the criminal had many a licensed weapons with her.She was also murdered by him. What else you expect him to do??He grew up amongst these weapons i should guess.

I think it is high time that the governments  around the globe bring about strict laws concerning the arms an individual may carry.Bringing the laws on paper won't be fruitful. It should be monitored on a regular basis.
The violators of the law must be given the capital punishment.

As a request to authorities of educational institutions, please improve your security measures also so that such hazards will not happen again.

Protect our children....they are our past, present and future......stop tyranny against them.....let them grow and blossom our gardens, please don't nip the buds....All i want to say everyone,.........

LIVE AND LET LIVE..........

A NOTE IN THE AFTERGLOW

Time cease to exist as i gazed out of my circumambient. There was still time for the sun to hide his face in the blue. But shadows were already setting in. Sitting near my window sill, my eyes searched over the horizon for eternity. Without doubt, mind was inadvertent. But there was something on the brighter side. It was incipient in whole stretch of  22 odd years, that i was beginning to put my heart along with my surroundings, rather than being confined to a solitary cage that i may have forged out for myself.

The color of the evening sky, a blue-grey composition had begun to enchant me. The transformation within me was so rapid a one that i couldn't help but was appraised about it. I have many a times seen the sun set behind my house, but today it seemed more golden, divine and majestic. As those rays kissed my face and turned me red, i felt the rest of the world black out. It was me,me alone............

oh my holy divine,
provide me thy austere wine,
a piece of bread to feed upon,
a ray of red to shine upon.

Bless me wings to soar up sky,
with the head by and high.
Blot all my hearts' brine,
oh my holy divine,oh my holy divine.

This window sill seemed to have something melancholic about itself. It gave me a frame-shot of my surroundings, with a dozen of it's evenly and sequentially arranged iron rods. Yonder i see a group of dickens playing football. Their yells of happiness and sighs of despair engender an untold happiness within the core.

Without a breath of wind, the nature seems to be waiting for her eternal lover, the silent night. A murder of crows are calling at their mates. I guess it's their tea time :) .

The twilight is setting in......the shadows are deeper now, kiss you a farewell Missy nature ....make love to your squire night...goodbye.........

MY LOVED ONES

Digging up my mind for hours together, silly me was pondering over the fact that what my first blog post would have to about. Most of you will agree to my rational speculation that the first post need to be above par in attributes if not the best. So after reeling my head for hours together, my clumsy mind suddenly sprang up. Hey man! what makes you think tons? You should be blogging about your loved ones first!! Are they not there to support  you every time you make a cockamamie move? Are they not the ones who back you up every time? I had no elect, but to accede. He was pouring the truth in.

So that has to be it...'MY LOVED ONES'

I presume i should commence from my family. This may be contiguous to an intro, but the fact it becomes my first post doesn't abate it's standing in any case. My parents and me actualize the arena of my family. i idolize my father, not candidly just because he raised me up, a complete man, he has never failed to wonder me.

I apprehended from my relatives, that he used to be a brilliant student who made his pedagogues awe at him. ( But tell you what, he is terrible with his handwriting though, ugh!).

But fate has something in reserve for everyone i think. I may not be merely speculating, as in dad's case this is unambiguously impeccable. Before he could complete his education, multiple accidents threw him to bed to which he was confined for  two long years. By the time he was up and about, his parents were no where near a position to continue his studies. Needless to say, that was the end of formal education for him.

But he dreamt a dream, he wanted to be known as a Government employee rather than who had failed in his life due to his fate. Hence he buckled his shoes and started parading Government offices. Law was languid in enumerating the codicils of education at that time i pursume. Finally he was rewarded with the attainment of his job.

But this man right here, made sure that his son is not in anyway in destitution of education that he had dearth-ed. I am not only referring the official education that every man thumps on his child if not otherwise.
He is the man who taught me how to gel in with the globe, that changed its tinge faster than a chameleon, and to lead a folksy life where barbarians wait for your flesh. Hats off to him.

Mom with her limited literacy and little knowledge about the realm around her, would be always there to support me and dad. As every family would have it, occasional altercations smoke between me and mom.Its ambiguous that these vibrations  provide a more enduring bond to our relationship. The melting of ice happens pretty soon and home is filled with giggles again.....Love you mom.....

The post about my loved ones would be thoroughly expurgated, if  i don't mention about 4 of my pals after pegging away for such a long time. A bunch of idiots they are, (i am one of them, you can say that too!!! no getting away from it.ha ha ). As i scribble these lines down i smile like a bonehead as their innocent faces play through my eyes. They each are subjects for different posts!!!really..so i will just give their names.Preejish, Reena, Renjith and Vishnu .............assets,they really are.

If you are reading this post, it's unambiguously because am back into the world i love most, writing and books. And i am back because another of my two great friends who unlike my other friends  are book savvy. Saionora Jannet and Akhila....Thank you gals.

As i  bring to fruition this post, i am feeling extremely blissful that, i could start on a good note .

I will get back to you soon,

thank you everyone, for spending your valuable time with me :)

yours Sam
